Predrag Velinovic was born in 1966 in Novi Pazar. In 1991 he graduated from the Belgrade Faculty of Drama Arts, Film and TV Directing Department. He came publicly with 30-minute story “Amsterdam” within the omnibus “Sta radis veceras” (“What Are You Doing Tonight”) that closed the 1988 Pula Film Festival. He directed great number of TV broadcasts and commercial spots. Documentary-feature broadcasts “Vrelina djavola: Bukovski u Beogradu” (“The Heat of Devil: Bukovsky in Belgrade”) and “Tajna celuloida” (“The Secret of Celluloid”) were part of the official programme of the Berlin Prix Europa Festival, Prix Italia as well as other local and foreign TV festivals. In 2000 he directed feature film “Senke uspomena” (“The Shadow of Memories”) after the script of Predrag Perisic. His second feature film “Volim te najvise na svetu” (“I Love You Most in the World”) after the Radoslav Pavlovic script had its Belgrade premiere in March 2003. He is an associate professor at the Belgrade Faculty of Drama Arts at the film and TV Directing Department.
